My name is Darien and I love to travel.
Ever since I was young, I was lucky enough to have had the chance to go places. That being said, while financial considerations are very important, I believe that it is the passion and exuberance that truly makes one a true traveler.
As of March 2014, I have been to five out of the seven continents of the world, my sole exceptions being South America and Antarctica. It is my dream, and my goal to one day complete exploring all countries in the world. According to the most neutral and recent tally, there are 193 countries worldwide, and thus far, I have been to 33 of them, so I still have a pretty long way to go!
Throughout my journeys, I have stayed everywhere from five star resorts to couch surfing and even sleeping in airports! Gasp!
